- How to perform a skin test: Choose a quarter size diameter of skin on your forearm or leg; cleanse the area with soapy water and alcohol. Next, apply the product to the area. Check the chosen area every 4-6 hours up to 24-48 hours. If signs of irritation or allergies appear, discontinued use immediately.
